The squad is made up of four sections:
Transition - £21.00 p/m
This is a new section that has been created to allow swimmers to ease their way into the squad.
Grey Seals - £24.00 p/m
This section comprises of mainly junior swimmers. Some who have just moved from the learner section of the club to formal training.
Blue Dolphins - £27.00 p/m
Comprises of mainly junior swimmers who have been taking part in training for some time and attend the majority of sessions on offer to them. These swimmers also attend two of the White Sharks sessions to allow a smooth transition when they have achieved the necessary standard to more to the next section.
White Sharks - £31.00 p/m
This section has more training sessions on offer to them than the others and a higher level of attendance and effort is expected.
Masters - £18.00 p/m
This section is designed for the over 25's. Training is conducted in consultation with the coaches.
At present there are three members of the coaching staff who meet on a regular basis to assess swimmers progress and plan each training cycle. Coaches work across all the groups for their own personal development, but also so both swimmers and coaches get to know each other.
Learner Section - £14.00 p/m for 1 weekly session and £19.00 p/m for 2 sessions
We have a teaching and learning section, children are taught the national teaching plan through all stages. Beginners start at the age of four in widths and progress through the stages into lengths before going into transition for the competitive squad.
At present we have several trained staff who deliver these sessions.
ASA Membership Fees (per annum)
8 Years and Under - £16.00
9 Years and Over - £24.00
2nd Joined members - £11.00
Voting Members - £10.00
Fees to cover membership from January to December in any one year. Failure to pay will result in your child being un-insured and therefore unable to swim.
